New Readings from “The Tower and the Sea” on YouTube

After a bit of bother concerning a horde of zombies, a ninja clan, and something called “The World Fulcrum,” we’ve finally found time to get back in the studio to record more podcasts for YouTube.

Our Society Goes YouTube

The kids tell me this “YouTube” thing is way hip, so I went and got myself a channel. Our Society is now online and streaming. Over the next few days we’ll be putting up a podcast version of “The Tower and the Sea” read by yours truly, Avatar Nelson. Come and listen to something very much like my real voice. In time, we’ll be using the YouTube channel for sermons, commentary, and strange, inexplicable fever visions with fire and enochian chanting.

The Vision to Explore

Let me share a little fact with you. Right next to me is a big stack of internet stats about who comes to this site and how. That batch of info tells me something very interesting about you. You are literally one in a thousand.

For every thousand people who view our links and ads, only one person clicks through. That’s you. In a thousand people, only you had the curiosity to see what this is all about. Only you felt the need to explore, to expand your horizons with something new. You’re something special.

Right now, as you’re reading this, nine-hundred and ninety-nine other people are just going along with their day, unconcerned, oblivious. You’re not like them. You have a vision to explore. People like you will be the ones who build the future, not those other near-thousand who drift on by without a care. You want to see something new, to learn something new, and to help create something new. I want people like you on my side.

We face a bit of crisis in our times. Our power, as a people, is quickly outstripping our vision. You can see the results in the oil spills, the industrial accidents, the threats of war and the violent reactionary attacks of terrorist movements. People who cling to the old world are drowning as it goes under, refusing to take up the rope thrown to them from the future. They’re flailing, madly trying to grab anyone they can reach to drag down with them. People with the vision to explore, like yourself, can see this happening.

We need people to help us pass through this crisis, men and women who can see the future coming and are willing to step forward to meet it. If only one person in a thousand is like that, well, so be it. If it takes special, important people to come through the other side of this storm, than that’s who I’ll search for.

Stay a while, I have a few things to teach you. You’re here to learn, right? You came here to see what all this was about. Well, it’s about you. It’s about you, and your vision to explore. I want to give you the tools to do just that.

Do you know the color of your soul? Every one of us explores the world in our own special way. The color of your soul, the design of your inner self, is the mark of what your special way might be. There are five colors. You’ll find that you perform at your best when you act in harmony with the color that defines you. What is the color of your soul?

The vision that brought you here also marks you as a dreamer. You’re intelligent, you can see ahead of most people. Chances are, you have vivid and powerful dreams when you sleep. Even still, those dreams are hard to remember, aren’t they? What if you could do something while you’re asleep, somehow discover a way to harness the power of your dreams? To use them, shape them, and remember them? I can teach you how to do just that.
